Lake Jindabyne

Lake Jindabyne can be enjoyed any time of the day, any time of the year! Surrounded by incredible natural beauty, this scenic town offers the perfect escape.

The lake is just over 3000 hectares in size, and you can do just about anything you can think of on the water – whether it’s wakeboarding, waterskiing, kayaking or sailing!

When you’re ready to get out of the water and explore the town, the Snowy Mountain Wilderness Guides will be there to help you explore the local history on horseback or even quad bikes.

You can enjoy outdoor adventure, gourmet delights and vibrant nightlife – plus in the colder months it’s a great base near the snowfields!

If you’re thinking of taking a trip, check out the video from Spida and Sheree from Great Australian Doorstep as they explored the region.

*Please note this video footage was captured prior to the bushfires and is being shared now to highlight why we should keep on camping and support areas affected by fires. Please check with local tourism bodies and caravan holiday parks for the latest information on activities, accommodation and closures.
