Wildlife wonders on Kangaroo Island
With 509 kilometres of coastline, South Australia’s Kangaroo Island is home to an array of native wildlife, bushland, pristine beaches and local wines.
For anybody with an interest in natural wonders and wildlife, this is an area you will not want to miss. You can take a walking tour among a colony of sea lions with a national park ranger, explore Flinders Chase National Park, and take a look at the spectacular Admirals Arch.
If you want to relax and enjoy the day with no stress, there are bus tours around the island so you can sit back and enjoy the sights without having to worry about directions or missing anything – just don’t forget your camera!
*Please note this video footage was captured prior to the bushfires and is being shared now to highlight why we should keep on camping and support areas affected by fires. Please check with local tourism bodies and caravan holiday parks for the latest information on activities, accommodation and closures.
